The Anti-Slop Checklist You Run in 10 Minutes
One page, every tell, in priority order. Print it, run it, ship.
July 31, 2026
Here is the whole month, compressed into one checklist you can run in ten minutes before any launch. Work it top to bottom. The order is the priority, because the top items carry most of the trust signal.
The 10 minute anti-slop checklist
Trust read (do these first, they matter most)
- One decided brand color, not the default purple gradient.
- One typeface, two weights, everywhere.
- A hero headline that names the exact job for an exact person, not "build the future."
- One real trust signal visible: a face, a specific number, or a real screenshot.
The tell sweep (count your hits)
- No glass cards you did not choose on purpose.
- A radius that means something, not the untouched 16px default.
- Real icons, not emoji standing in.
- A page order that leads with your strongest proof, not the generic three card triptych.
The broken-looking traps
- Every empty state has one sentence and one button, no blank grids.
- It holds together on a phone, not just your desktop.
The words
- No filler verbs: streamline, empower, supercharge, elevate. Replace each with the concrete outcome.
How to use it
This is the ten minute version of everything from this month: the tells, the five decisions, the trust signals. If you clear the top four, you have cleared most of the fifty millisecond trust read, which is most of the game.
The one thing a checklist cannot do is see your app for you, because you have gone face blind. So run the list, then get the outside read to catch what you approved and stopped noticing. Run your app through auditmy.design and it scores every item on this list against your real screens, automatically, on every deploy.
